The Preservation Process

Your flowers will need to be with us as soon as possible after your wedding or event; the fresher your flowers are when they enter the process the better shape they will hold. We can arrange to collect your flowers if its local or you can drop it to us the following day. Keep your flowers in a dry cool place, a garage or shed NOT a fridge or freezer as this will damage them.

Your flowers will be carefully dismantled by qualified technicians and each flower will be put into a container of drying agent then placed in a section of our drying room. Here your flowers will remain for between 2 and 3 weeks depending on the flowers moisture. Your flowers will be checked constantly to ensure no moisture is left. Some pigment may be lost for example, Red Roses may appear darker in colour and some white flowers will need to be hand painted once dry.

Each flower is taken out of the process and carefully put back together and painted accordingly. Some flowers may shrink slightly this will not effect your final design.

Your design is then recreated in 3D form into your chosen frame and sealed air tight. Your final design will be backed and ready for you to hang.

Please view our galley for examples.
